Personal Information Yuchen Zhang, he received his Doctor of Engineering degree (combined master-doctor program) from Shaanxi Normal University in December 2022. In the same year, he joined the College of Information Engineering, Northwest A&F University. From 2021 to 2022, he pursued joint doctoral training in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, University of Saskatchewan, Canada. He is a recipient of the Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award of Shaanxi Province and a supervisor for master students.He has published numerous research papers in journals including Knowledge-Based Systems, Big Data Mining and Analytics, Briefings in Bioinformatics, and Frontiers in Pharmacology. He has presided over 1 Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 Youth Project of Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Program, and 2 Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities. Additionally, he has participated in 4 projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and 3 provincial and ministerial research projects. He has contributed two chapters to English monographs and obtained 2 authorized patents.
Currently, he serves as a member of the Intelligent Health and Bioinformatics Technical Committee of the Chinese Association of Automation, an executive member of the CCF Bio-3New Young Scholars Symposium, and a founding member of the Shaanxi Society for Bioinformatics. He is also a member of CCF, ACM and IEEE. Moreover, he acts as a youth editorial board member of Interdisciplinary Sciences-Computational Life Sciences, and a peer reviewer for journals such as Information Fusion, Knowledge-Based Systems, PLOS Computational Biology, Methods and Chinese Journal of Electronics. He has been appointed as a Program Committee (PC) member for international conferences including IEEE International Conference on Bioinformatics and Biomedicine (BIBM), International Conference on Swarm Intelligence (ICSI), International Conference on Data Mining and Big Data (DMBD) and International Conference on Intelligent Computing (ICIC).
